Car runs okay then all lights flash and tranny doesnt work ---

First step is a read-out of the computer’s diagnostic codes. Ask your shop to do this. If you post the codes here you might get some more ideas. I don’t recall this being a common problem for Subies, something must be amiss w/your specific vehicle. ---
