# 2015 Jeep Cherokee transmission trouble

Service transmission light came on. Vehicle is not safe to drive and was almost in a accident with my kids in the vehicle. Vehicles is having problems starting as well. My Jeep is not part of the recall and I do still have a warranty on the transmission. But, if they say that it is a different problem then I have to pay out of pocket. Also, if they say that it is not covered under warranty which most of the time they do then I will have to pay out of pocket. They dealership would not even give me a loaner vehicle without it having a diagnostic check first. So, now I have no vehicle and no way to work.

The dealer can’t provide you with a rental car until they know it is a warranty repair and FCA will pay the rental fee but you can rent a car until one is provided.
