We own a 2015 Ford Explorer which we purchased new from a Ford dealer. We have the same paint problem on the hood at 32,000 miles. Waiting to hear back from the dealership and Ford

Good Luck, doubtful if they will cover a four year old vehicle but you might get lucky.
