# 2014 Kia Soul no power after stopping

Come to a Stop Light and go to take Off No power have to Let off and Hit the peddle again

Your vehicle doesn’t have a throttle cable from the pedal to the throttle body.

Instead, the accelerator system is electronic or drive-by-wire.

Here’s the accelerator position sensor. (gas pedal)

So, the problem might be with this sensor, the computer, or the electronic throttle body.
