# 2014 Jeep Compass - It wasn't the throttle body

the checklight came on then a redlight came on it were the trobby body i put a new one on and it not cranking.

Check the PCM for system faults, you may find that the new throttle body requires a calibration process before the computer will allow the engine to start.
