# 2014 Honda Civic Sdn - Starting issues

My car won’t start with the push start. However it will start with the remote. Of course as soon as the door is unlocked the car shuts off. Brand new battery. Lights, horn and everything else works. So I know it’s not the started but what the heck is it?

Bad starter switch, or if you have to press the brake to start bad switch there.
