# 2013 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen - Sunroof leaking

I am leary of the sunroof leaking. Has that been a problem?

After twelve years, now you are worried?  
Keep the drains cleaned, leaks would be minimal.

As long as you keep the track clean, the drains clean, and the gasket in good condition, it won’t leak. If you are buying the car, open the sunroof and inspect the tracks. If you see any rust, pass on the car.

I’d be a lot more leery of buying a 2013 Volkswagen, myself.

Sunroof would be a 2nd or 3rd concern, in my book. But your mileage may vary.
