# 2013 Ram 1500 Wouldn't Accelerate, Won't Restart

A used engine is probably only going to have a 90 day or maybe at most a 6 mo. warranty. Anything beyond that is a crapshoot so best to trade it in while it’s still running. Plus, again, the rest of the truck, for instance the transmission, has 116k. Granted, I’ve gone that route with a Pontiac we couldn’t afford to replace that had a bum transmission. It still had the used transmission when we got rid of it many miles later.
