Has it not occurred to you that you are actually low on oil . The chance that the dip stick is wrong is really small. Driving with no oil on the stick will cause severe engine damage and cost you thousands. Add enough oil to bring it to the full level on the stick that came with the vehicle. Also when was the last time for an oil change?
