my daughter’s air car air conditioning is not working - it has Freon but just does not turn on, recommended to take it to dealer Any other options? she lives in NE Minneapolis

Take it to an AC specialty shop or to a local independent mechanic that does AC work. There is NO need to take a car this old to a dealer for repairs.

I wish it were easier to find one near NE Minneapolis, but thanks for the idea.

Phillip , I just put ( vehicle air conditioner repair Minneapolis ) in Google and received all kinds of hits and the Yelp site had a lot of places. Your daughter is there and she should know someone who has used a local shop or she can search the web herself.
