My 2012 Rav4 - 4 cylinder, is all of a sudden going through oil … down 3 quarts after only 3,000 mi of an oil change. 2nd time happening, No leaks. Where is oil going?

apparently, RAV4 of that vintage is totally PITA to replace PCV: [2010 Toyota RAV4 PCV Valve Replacement] if on some cars, it is easily done even with minimal technical knowledge, it’s clearly not the case on this one

What still baffles me is that the vehicle seems to do just fine for 2500 miles or so and then starts losing oil to beat the band, about a quart every 150 miles.
