My long term mechanic has retired Yuki in Scarsdale. Can anyone recommend someone as good as him in NYC area? I have a Prius ---

New York City is a large area so even if you got a name it might not even be close to you . I also don’t think we have a member who lives in NYC . That is why most people use online things like Yelp and Angies List . A lot of people who have Hybrid vehicles just use a dealer . retired Yuki ?? ---

It can’t be too hard around Scarsdale. Ask friends and neighbors - some of which probably own Prii. ---

Is the shop closing or just changing hands? We’re on the third owner of the shop we’ve used since 1993. Miss our old mechanic but the current crew is just as good. 2010 Prius that’s had few issues in 15yrs ---

@steven49 - look for mechanics that list Toyotas in their specialties, then check reviews for hybrid comments. A good Toyota shop will have seen many hybrids (the Prius is one of several Toyota hybrids, they all use similar systems). ---
