Hi. I’m about to purchase a 2012 RR Super Charged with 42,000 miles. Is it anything particular I should check for? Are you having problem with increased mileage? Thanks!

Make sure you have a second car that you intend to keep and a large pile of cash in reserve after you buy it. These things are unreliable at best (hence the need for a 2nd car) and unreliable money pits at the worst.

If you must buy one, pay a completely independent Land Rover specialist mechanic to look it over very carefully before purchase.

Then read this before signing the purchase agreement:

> Well, folks, it’s been a year. For many of you, this immediately begs the question: A year since what? But there’s a select group of readers out there who knows exactly what I’m talking about; a privileged class of readers who’s aware of this...

This was a year-long series of articles written by Doug DeMuro, a guy who bought a RR and chronicled the HUGE amount of money his CarMax warranty paid to repair his car.
