# 2012 Kia Optima - Sometimes will not start

So, what does it do? Does the engine turn over (trying to start), clicking noise, anything at all? What do you do the get it started?

When you turn the key what happens

1. silence

2. clicking sound from engine area

3. whirring sound but not typical engine sound

4. engine trying to turn over bit does not start

Each of these point to a different problem & solution

How many miles are on the car, what maintenance has been done, the more we know the more we can help
