# 2012 Jeep Patriot radio can’t stay on

radio will stop working then start up maybe 15-20 minutes later, no sound comes out even though the display still shows radio station & clock, satilite radio, mp3 plug-in still works even though radio is silent. sometimes will start again when i start the car but radio never works for more than about 15 minutes at at time???

Your radio is broken and need a replacement. It doesn’t have to be a factory radio, plenty of options out there.
