# 2012 Honda CR-V - EPS light

I bought a 2012 Honda CR-V as well and just recently the eps; light and steering has been going out every now and then. Very scary. Has anyone had an update to theirs as to Honda fixing the issue?

Unfortunately the NHTSA only has a couple dozen complaints on file so it’s unlikely Honda will step up and fix the problem. [https://m.carcomplaints.com/Honda/CR-V/2012/steering/](https://m.carcomplaints.com/Honda/CR-V/2012/steering/)  
Have you been in touch with the local Honda dealer and if so what was the result?
