After I was rear ended, my bluetooth started having problems. Since then, the person I am speaking to hears lots of noise. I am finding out that bluetooth mic problems are common with this car - my question is this: The problems only started after my car was rear-ended. Could the collision loosened something to start the problems?

Yes. If you had the SUV repaired under an insurance claim, contact the insurer and have them include it in the fix.
