# 2012 Ford Escape - It wasn't the reistor

we just got 2012 Ford escape the ac/heat fan is not working my son replaced the resistorr they saaid it lkely was but that did not work any one else had a problem and know another fix?

Explain more. What is it doing you don’t want it to do? What isn’t it doing that you do want it to do?

The typical symptom of a failed heater blower resistor is the fan will only turn at the “hi” speed.
