# 2012 Audi A4 - Trunk latch

My trunk latch won’t release when I click the remote to open it. The trunk release on the left door won’t open it either.  
Worst of all it won’t even go “uhhh” when I ask it to open. Please help.

Can you climb into the trunk from the back seat? If you can, do that and pull the emergency tab and see if that opens it. If it doesn’t something is really jammed so you will need to remove the latch mechanism from inside the trunk. I hope you are skinny and limber!
