We have the same problem with our 2011 Kia. the radio has a mind of its own . one minute it comes on and plays then the next it goes off.
Checked all fuses and they were good. Fixing to just tear it out and put in a aftermarket

Best solution, cheaper than factory.

Maybe there’s a ghost who wants to listen the radio? … lol … I was listening to a radio program the other day, about this couple who had purchased a house, and they kept hearing a radio somewhere upstairs, but could never find it. Finally they decided it was just a ghost, problem solved …😉

Seriously, OP’s best bet is probably to assume the radio is faulty and replace it.
