My turn signal keeps going out, but will turn back on if I hit the light (physically bang on the plastic covering over the light). I know it’s not the bulb because I tried replacing it. What could it be?

Corroded ground connection. Or corroded bulb terminals. Or loose spring in the light housing that holds the bulb. You may need to replace the socket.

Yes… What @Mustangman said… You problem lies on the bulb, socket, plug side of things…
