Engine light on dealer says might be gas recovery line if I send car number can you give me proof of a recall? ---

I guess by car number you mean VIN . No do not send it here. Use you search engine and find the government recall site and you will find it there if there is one . Actually the dealer can also do that for you. ---

And ANY recall is performed at no expense to the owner. Non recall repairs are the responsibility of the owner. How did your dealer evaluate your check engine light? What ever the true cause it needs to be fixed. You can always get a second opinion from an independent shop or have a auto supply store read the codes for you. ---
