# 2010 Kia Forte - Odd revs

I have a 2010 Kia Forte and my cars rpm keeps jumping up and down while driving making it feel as if it is about to go out, it jerks and the engine revs up while driving even if I hit the gas a tad bit. What could be the issue?

Do you have an automatic transmission or a manual transmission? If it’s an automatic, is the fluid level correct?
