I have a 2010 Honda Civic with stock sun visors. Recently, both the driver and passenger side visors broke and no longer stay in place (a problem affected by a recall on pre-2010 models). Since these are the cheap bottom-of-the-line parts, I am interested in replacing them with better quality visors that slide along an arm ([https://www.google.com/search?q=sliding+sun+visor&client=firefox-b-1&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=rSisk-yDSTylBM%3A%2CadKdRdURZEtEzM%2C\_&vet=1&usg=AI4\_-kRIAagdgXsGnhBoSzNZiZ-qqcOWuA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi5pvKemIHiAhVwHjQIHZ7eDY4Q9QEwDnoECAgQCg&biw=1280&bih=671#imgrc=rSisk-yDSTylBM:](https://www.google.com/search?q=sliding+sun+visor&client=firefox-b-1&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=rSisk-yDSTylBM%253A%252CadKdRdURZEtEzM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kRIAagdgXsGnhBoSzNZiZ-qqcOWuA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi5pvKemIHiAhVwHjQIHZ7eDY4Q9QEwDnoECAgQCg&biw=1280&bih=671#imgrc=rSisk-yDSTylBM:)) or have an extension ([https://www.google.com/search?q=sliding+sun+visor&client=firefox-b-1&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=A4kfaBD3L1AiRM%3A%2CadKdRdURZEtEzM%2C\_&vet=1&usg=AI4\_-kSdn\_IP0jBFS2j8iQJq22i3N2-JqQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi5pvKemIHiAhVwHjQIHZ7eDY4Q9QEwDHoECAgQBg&biw=1280&bih=671#imgrc=A4kfaBD3L1AiRM:](https://www.google.com/search?q=sliding+sun+visor&client=firefox-b-1&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=A4kfaBD3L1AiRM%253A%252CadKdRdURZEtEzM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kSdn_IP0jBFS2j8iQJq22i3N2-JqQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi5pvKemIHiAhVwHjQIHZ7eDY4Q9QEwDHoECAgQBg&biw=1280&bih=671#imgrc=A4kfaBD3L1AiRM:)).

The assembly diagrams for most car sun visors are surprisingly hard to find on the internet. Does anyone know if sun visors for higher-end Honda models (Accord, Odyessy, Pilot, Civic Type-R, etc.) are or would be interchangeable with a stock 2010 Civic sedan visor?

Just ask any Honda dealers.

If you want a lower-cost solution, you might want to try my method for fixing the same problem on a friend’s 2008 RAV-4. I bought heavy-duty Velcro from Lowe’s and by installing this on the visor and on the headliner directly above the visor, the problem was resolved for a couple of bucks.
