# 2010 Chevrolet Equinox - Trans dead at 60

Transmission failure with less than 60,000 miles. Is this a common on this model? Very disappointing and expensive.

Hard to say if it is “common”, but there are some listing on [CarComplaints](https://www.carcomplaints.com/Chevrolet/Equinox/2010/transmission/transmission_failure.shtml) of folks with your same predicament.
