I have a 2009 titan with only 40000 miles and my clear coat has peeled from the roof and hood and looks like crap.

A nearly 13 year old vehicle, clear coat failing is **not** unusual. Paint fails with age, not mileage.
You have several choices.
Drive as is.
Get a cheap paint job that will last a year or two.
Spend the $$$$ and get a quality paint job.
