Owners report to Consumer Reports a 3/5 for reliability. Paint and trim, fuel system, and interior power equipment most common failures

The biggest complaint on [carcomplaints.com](http://carcomplaints.com) was oil consumption, under engine. But a big improvement from 2007-2008.

I wouldn’t waste my money on a 2009 Silverado hybrid

Just get a regular 2009 Silverado

NOT a hybrid . . . there can be no misunderstanding that

Things will be so much simpler, if you follow my advice
