# 2009 Acura TL - is it the exhaust system?

That noise seems typical of a cracked exhaust manifold. $5000 sounds insane.

100% true although I made absolutely no reference to people in my so called “social circle”! I described a few customers at the Buick dealership where I worked 42 YEARS ago in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! I am confident db4690, George in San Jose, and other members who now live or have lived there can confirm it is like living on another planet. In the mid 1970s there were idiots that believed image was everything and the more you pay the more it’s worth!
