cHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON NOW FOR 2 YRS CAN NOT PASS INSPECTION. HAVE SPENT OVER 1000 DOLLARS AND NOT RESOLVED.

You need to find a better mechanic. The one you are using is not very good. Or you aren’t listening to what they are telling you.
