Toyota uses ceramic brake pads with rubber coated shims. If you had some place else install aftermarket pads, they will squeak and or grind. Either use Toyota pads or I us Akebono Ceramic pads. I bought the Akebono pads for my 09 Camry SE at [www.Rockauto.com](http://www.Rockauto.com) but for my other Toyotas I use Toyota pads.
