# 2008 Lincoln MKZ - Hard to get at the airbag

Ok, so my air bag is being replaced and the dealer called me to tell me that the decorative strip across the dash needs to come off as the screws are located underneath. However, one of the screws is ‘frozen’ in place and the decorative piece would break when they take it out. Has anyone else experienced this? The bag is a factory recall and the dealer should be able to cover any damage done to the car. Agreed?
