# 2008 Honda Fit Sport making knocking noise in engine

Yes. His engine needed a lot of disassembly that my 1999 Civic does not. I’m not sure what you’ll find on your Fit but he mentions at least two different engines. My valve cover is right there and accessible, nothing as tricky as what he had to do… I never used any new parts (gasket, o-rings, etc.) but have used a little dab of sealant as he illustrates.
