# 2007 Honda CR-V won't shift to 3rd

What would cause my automatic tranny to not get out of 2nd gear into 3rd even when going 50 and a on a low incline with normal pressure on the gas pedal? Car has 125,00 miles.

It could be that the transmission is failing. The fluid level could be low.

Is there a check engine light on?
