The driver side window does not always go up. It will be fine for days then one day it will not go up. Shutting off the engine and then turning the key back on and the window will go up. I recently replaced the windows switch in the driver’s door. This did not help!
What else might cause this?

The problem might be with the BCM. {body control module)

This component controls things such as the windows, interior lights, door locks, etc…

If you turn the key off and then back on and the window works, you basically re-booted the BCM.

Check the wires where they go from the body to the door. That is a common weak point for a short or broken wire that exhibits symptoms such as yours.

Others have had the wire problem at the door. Hope that works for you.
