# 2007 Ford Freestyle speedometer shuts off

When I reach a speed of 70, I hear a beep and my speedometer shuts off. The dash shows symbols for airbag, brakes and ABS with a message to check the brake system. All other gauges work, including cruise control. My garage has not been able to identify the problem.
