# 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 steering box

What is the best way to fix the steering box problems on dodge trucks. I recently had vibrations of the front end and put new tires on and it went away. Been researching it and i’m worried as I use the truck to carry a cab over camper.

Since you have a steering gearbox, versus a rack, it seems you have a 4x4 truck . . . correct?

Have you googled “death wobble” . . . ?

There is no one single answer, unfortunately

And it’s not exclusive to Dodge trucks, by the way

Our fleet had quite a few GM class 6 - 8 trucks with the death wobble, and the fix wasn’t always the same
