# 2007 Chevrolet Impala - Any ideas on the cost to fix this rattle?

Car runs great, just turned on fan to blow vent air, makes loud rattle behind glove box, does same if I turn on the A/C… it sounds like plastic hitting plastic,like a fan blade hitting something. I turned it off right away and it still rattled about 30 seconds after turned off. Havent touched it since. What is it and how much to repair?

Probably the blower motor needs to be replaced or something has fallen into it. You won’t know for sure until you open it up.

Could be just a failing fan or motor but giving a cost is impossible because it depends on a lot of things. Such as who does the work and your location .

Sounds like the recirculation door actuator has failed. About $75 for the part and one hour labor.
