2006 Sentra

Since yesterday, the front passenger window goes up using the master switch (driver’s switch) but won’t go down. If I use the switch on the passenger door, it works flawlessly.

What could be the issue and how should I check it?

Thanks in advance.

The master switch is bad. It might be possible a wire through the door is broken.

Remove the switch and back probe the connector to test it. Or just replace it, it shouldn’t cost much.

Yeah or gummed up contacts. If it’s in the arm rest, a lot can accumulate. I have taken them apart to clean the contacts but with limited success depending on the design.
