My colleague has an 05 Toyota Camry with paint that is bubbling and peeling on the hood. Was this a problem with the Camry? How could I find out if there was a recall or known issue? Thanks!

Insert “2005 Toyota Camry Paint Issue” into a search engine (lots to choose from) and see what comes up.

Bladecutter’s suggestion was a good one, but I’m also wondering of the car was bought used and perhaps had repair work done.
