# 2005 Chevrolet Aveo - door won’t open from outside handle

My car door on drivers side stopped opening from the outside handle. My only solution which is a pain was to tie a stri.v to the handle and open from the passenger side.

From the outside it appears to be locked when closed even when the lock pull is in the unlocked position.

Take it to a mechanics shop to have the door repaired. It is very likely the outer door handle has broken internally.
