Chimes go off when you take vehicle out of park to reverse, drive or even 1st, second, third and drive. Won’t shut off till put in park or still won’t go off until you shut off engine then turn key to just before you start engine again then chimes go off.

Maybe you can turn it off by remove a fuse associated with the warning chime. That will help your sanity until you can get it fixed.

The pcm must think something or another isn’t in the ready-to-drive state. Most of those have warning lights, but maybe the warning light bulb isn’t working. Make sure all the dashboard warning lights are working when the key is in "on’, but the engine isn’t running. Sometimes this sort of issue can be found stored in a pcm error-condition memory, either current or history, so check there. Other ideas:

- pcm thinks a car door isn’t properly closed
- pcm thinks there’s something wrong w/ the brakes or steering
- pcm thinks a seat belt isn’t fastened, possibly b/c it falsely detects a seat is occupied, when it isn’t. Make sure there’s nothing sitting on the seats.
