If you don’t have a floor Jack, borrow one or buy one. Here’s a highly rated floor Jack with two Jack stands from Sears. It’s light duty (4000#, DIY user), but for home use it should be fine. At $60, it is only $6 more than the floor jack alone, and is worth the extr IMO. You shouldn’t need the Jack stands if you just get each wheel off the ground individually and spin it in neutral with the parking brake off.
As long as you are not going under the car, the jack that came with the car is fine for checking each wheel, one at a time, Just make sure to chock one of the non-lifted wheels.
