# 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited intermittent knock

engine makes knocking sound intermittently  
sometimes it continues to a point where a screaming occurs  
then it disappears  
has not affected idle or acceleration

Did you have a question?  
What engine? How many miles on it? How long has it been doing this? Are there any dash lights on? Has a mechanic looked at it yet?
