# 2004 Chevrolet Malibu windshield wipers

My windshield wiper wont work. I change the diode not thing happen. The fuse are ok. Inside and outside.

Very likely a bad switch. The multi function switch goes bad on cars this old.

Does the motor run? If so, it may be the mechanism. I mention the arm mechanism because I think they may use the type with the plastic socket and metal ball that breaks. If not, check for voltage at the connection. If yes, replace the motor. If no, replace the switch.

Actually the mechanism/transmission is more expensive than the motor ($86/$69) at Rock anyway.
