Hi,
I have a 2003 Ford Windstar with 88K miles bought used in 2014. There is an odd thing happening with the speedometer. It works sometimes then sometimes not. It might be working when I first start the vehicle, but subsequently when I restart it it’s not working. The odometer and cruise control still work? One mechanic said he’d have to replace dashboard? Another could not find any electrical problem.

Get a cheap GPS, maybe even a used one. It’s speed readout will be more accurate than your speedometer and it will cost you less money than trying to fix this 15 year old van.
