What I mean is that while I am driving, the fuel gauge mainly stays at empty with the low fuel light on. Usually while driving down the road, the gauge will seemingly come to life and sometimes will even give an accurate reading on how much gas is in it. Then, after a while, it dies again. Sometimes it will flop between empty and full, and then repeat a lot of the previous actions.
If you want to get the best service for the least hassle from that Grand Old Van I suggest you fill up every 200 miles and concentrate your efforts on critical matters.
