Have you tried restarting it since? And what were the results?

You should hear the fuel pump for 2 or 3 seconds only when turning the key to the on position. It will only run continuously when engine is running. If the fuel pump doesn’t turn on for 2 to 3 seconds when you turn the key on, you either have a bad fuel pump or voltage supply problem.
