how do i fix my check engine light on my 203 buick lasaber ---

Take it in and have the computer scanned for the code(s) to determine what’s causing the Check Engine light to come on. Tester ---

The CEL comes on b/c the engine computer has detected a problem of some kind. When it comes on, the computer will usually post diagnostic codes in its memory. If the CEL is on steady, something needs to be addressed soon but probably not an immediate emergency. If flashing, it needs to be addressed immediately; i.e. don’t drive any more until you’ve talked w/your shop. If you post the diagnostic codes, you’ll likely get some more ideas here.
