It started slipping one day. It started going and it wouldn’t go into second gear. I give it gas and nothin, then it will slip. I turn off and wait aboiut 5 mins. turn and it would catch, and then slip. What could it be?

No clue based on the fact that you didn’t even tell us what you think is slipping, what transmission the car has, the engine size, the mileage, anything. Post back with that info and we’ll try and help.

If in D and you press on the gas and the engine revs but the car doesn’t move, transmission problem. First step is to verify the transmission fluid level is correct.

A 16-year-old Chrysler transmission just now starting to slip?

What luck!

Go buy a lottery ticket!
