2001 Mercury Sable,67,000, that 2X has barely cranked over after 200 mile drive. Twice more at odd times would not start (barely cranked, same symptoms) then trying after a few minutes started right up like normal. No problem lights are on. Three time the windows stopped working for a day or two, then back to normal. Another thing, recently the theft light blinks when leaving the car, not while driving ---

What have you tried? If nothing yet, first check all the connections from the battery to the starter and frame. ---

Will do. I didn’t mention that 3 months ago I ran the battery completely dead, then got a jump. It seemed to have no effect for a few months then this started happening. The windows problem happened before the dead battery incident.
